Anjali Pamurthy

Anjali Pamurthy is a student at TAG Magnet High School. As the child of a doctor, she was part of many conversations about how the medical system continues to fail Black people both in the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond. After volunteering at the White Coats for Black Lives rallies, she realized that she could have a stronger impact and thus the Invisible Woman Foundation was born. Anjali wants to make a difference through legislation, changing how doctors treat their Black patients, and giving patients the opportunity to fight for themselves, when their doctors won't.

Ketan Pamurthy is a student at Brown University passionate about addressing inequalities in healthcare through research and education. Using the NIH's All of Us Research Database, Ketan is conducting groundbreaking research to unravel the complex social determinants of health that contribute to maternal mortality rates. Through his work, Ketan hopes to foster awareness, influence policy, and ultimately advocate for evidence-based solutions to healthcare disparities.
